Information Collection and Use

Information collected on this site is owned by (a) licensees of Johnson, LLC (licensees) or (b) the members, franchisees or customers of the licensees, either as individuals or as offices (members), or (c) Johnson, LLC (hereinafter "Johnson Services").

(a) Information collected on this site that is a part of the site content and which is not owned directly by the members is acknowledged as owned by the licensees unless stated otherwise in any agreements in force between Johnson Services and licensees. Such information includes but is not limited to text appearing on the public website registered to licensee and hosted by Johnson Services, text of news articles and press releases, and forms and documents made available on the site by the licensee.

(b) Business Listing or personal information entered by a member is owned exclusively by the member or by the licensee as governed by applicable statutes or agreements between licensees and members. Except as noted in (a) above, Johnson Services does not own the data comprising a business listing, annuity rates, term insurance rates, or member demographic information.

(c) Information collected which is not intrinsically a part of the business listings, news articles, insurance rate quotes, forum messages, or other information mutually agreed to as owned by licensees or members. Such information includes but is not limited to e-mail log files, website usage log files, security log files, and internal indices or keys created by entry of information belonging to licensees or members but not inherently a part of such information.

We [Johnson Services] will not sell, share, or rent any of this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. If your use of the InBLISS system is through one of our licensees, the licensee’s privacy statement, if any, will also apply to your use of this system. Johnson Services and our licensees collect information from our users at several different points on our website. The privacy policy outlined below pertains only to the use by Johnson Services of information collected on this site by Johnson Services or its licensees


In order to post to and use this website, a user must first complete the registration process. During registration a user is required to give contact information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest. If a user is also a member of a licensee organization, the licensee must also confirm that the user is eligible to register before the user may make use of any member areas.


A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. The drawback to this is that the user will be limited to the public areas of our site. The user will not be able to participate in any of the member service areas. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site.

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not necessarily linked to personally identifiable information. However, your login as a user of InBLISS is also tracked to identify changes such as amendments, additions or deletions to user records and listings and to identify trends in listing popularity statistics.


This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that neither we [JOHNSON SERVICES] nor our licensees are responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web site.

Site and Service Updates

Site and service updates are normally shown after a user logs in. We may also send the user site and service announcement updates via e-mail. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the user to provide requested services regarding to issues relating to their account via email.

Correction/Updating Personal Information

If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as your zip code), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will update or remove that user’s personal data based on the information provided to us. This can usually be done at the member information page or by contacting your office or association administrator.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our Homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will then have a choice as to whether or not to continue to use our services. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
